Dindigul Dragons, one of the teams in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), released its promo song at Sathyam Cinemas on Saturday. The song was penned by lyricist Madhan Karky. “The lyrics were written in five minutes, composed in twenty five minutes and finished in less than a day,” said Mr. Karky. The word ‘Neruppudaa’ has been weaved into the song. After the release of the songs from the movie ‘Kabali’, the word ‘Neruppudaa’ went viral.
TAKE Solutions, the promoters of this team will be organising flash mobs in malls and public places to create awareness on TNPL ahead of the match.
Deepa Jayakumar, vice-president, corporate services, TAKE Solutions, said, “We wanted to experiment something different and also educate public that such an event is happening in Tamil Nadu, so we chose public places to promote our team.”
