As part of its corporate social responsibility, a team of employees from Wondersoft, a Chennai-based Retail and Distribution Product Company, had a memorable pre-Deepavali get-together inmates of Good Life Centre in Tambaram. The events on Sunday last started with discussions about the significance of Deepavali festival. Every year Wondersoft employees spend time with inmates of children’s homes and hand over in cash or kind, things the children need.

With the money mobilised this year, the employees bought new dresses for each of the 135 inmates and also sweets and crackers. All three meals for the day were sponsored by the employees. The Wondersoft team and their families were helped by Konceptz Galore, an event management company, who set up a ‘bouncing castle,’ a cotton candy and tattoo stalls. Suraj from Konceptz Galore performed a magic show on the occasion.
