PMK leader S. Ramadoss on Saturday demanded that the AIADMK be barred from contesting the Assembly election.

Seeking the transfer of officials who were supporting the AIADMK, he alleged that the ruling party was misusing official machinery to win the polls.

In a statement here, Dr. Ramadoss said that though over Rs. 4.7 crore had been seized from the home of an industrialist, who is an AIADMK supporter, no case had been filed so far and the amount seized was being shown as Rs. 10.33 lakh.

He claimed that officials, who were supporters of the AIADMK, were attempting to cover up the seizure and safeguard the industrialist, a Minister and those above them.
