Court bars altering of tender process

The Madras High Court on Tuesday issued an interim injunction restraining the Transport Department from altering the tender evolution process completed for the preparation of smart card-based driving licences and registration certificates.

Justice K. Suguna granted the injunction on a petition filed Bon Ton Softwares Private Limited represented by its Managing Director Prabu Ramachandran.

The Judge ordered issue of notice to the government returnable in a week.
