The 50-hour countdown for the launch of PSLV C-30 rocket, which would put in space ASTROSAT satellite, the country’s first dedicated multi-wavelength space observatory, and six small satellites for three foreign countries, would commence at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, , some 100 km from here 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The rocket would also launch Indonesia’s LAPAN-A2 for maritime surveillance, Canada’s NLS-14 nano satellite, and the US’ four remote sensing satellites LEMUR for global maritime intelligence.
