Counselling for Indian System of Medicine

Health Minister M.R.K. Pannerselvam on Monday launched the four-day counselling for the Indian System of Medicine such as Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga and Naturopathy and Homoeopathy undergraduate courses for 2010-2011 in government and private colleges. He also distributed admission letters.

A release stated that the counselling would be for 296 seats in six government colleges and 508 seats in private self-financing colleges.

It would go on till September 9.

Health Secretary V.K. Subburaj, Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy Ramesh Kumar Khanna and other officials took part in the programme.
