Sri Suprabhata Sabha, West Mambalam, will be conducting a series of competitions in July and August.
Seven music contests, spread over three categories, sub-junior (eight to 12 years), junior (12 to 15 years) and senior (16 to 22 years) will be conducted on July 15. Last date to receive the details of contestants is July 1.
On July 29, there will be a quiz competition on general topic and quiz and oratorical contests on Ramayana and Bhagavatham for students from Class VI to VIII (junior) and IX to XII (senior). Entries should be forwarded through the schools.
Sloka competition will be conducted on August 26. Divided into six groups, the contestants should recite the prescribed slokas. Bhajan competition (group) will be held on August 5, the preliminary round for which will be held on July 22.
