Collector issues warning

District Election Officer and Collector, Tiruvallur, T. P.Rajesh has said that stern action will be initiated against those indulging in clandestine distribution of household articles to electors in Tiruvallur district.

The DEO has claimed that the District Election Wing has received tip-offs that certain political party cadre and aides of contesting candidates were distributing ‘tokens' to the families, which in turn could be exchanged for household electronic goods. Mr. Rajesh called upon the general public to lodge complaints at the 24-hour complaint cell – 27665583 / 84 / 85 or toll free number : 1800 425 7011.
