Civil supplies grievance meetings today

The Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department is conducting grievance meetings at 16 locations in and around Chennai on Saturday.

Such meetings are being held every month to redress public complaints regarding the issue of new family cards, changes in the family cards, deficiencies in the functioning of fair price shops or PDS commodities supplied or regarding unfair trade practices or deficiencies in the goods sold by the private sector in the market.

The meetings are being held at ARC Girls Higher Secondary School, 26 Saivmuthaiya Street, Muthaiyalpet (Chidambaranar zone); Anand Nursery and Primary School, Singarathottam, (Royapuram zone); Chennai Corporation Community Hall, Sathyamurthy Nagar, Vyasarpadi (Perambur zone); Thiru. Vi. Ka. Higher Secondary School, Shenoy Nagar (Anna Nagar zone); Sathish Balaji Higher Secondary School, Madhanangkuppam (Ambattur zone); Padma Sarankapani Matric Higher Secondary School, Kumaraswamy Nagar (Villivakkam zone); Panchayat Union Middle School, Manali (Thiruvottriyur zone); Puzhal Panchayat Union Middle School, Surapattu (Avadi zone); Chennai Primary School (T. Nagar zone); St. Rabel Girls Higher Secondary School, Santhome (Mylapore zone); Pallavaram Municipal Higher Secondary School, Zamin, Royapettah (St. Thomas Mount zone); Panchayat Union Primary School, Gowl Bazaar Highway (Tambaram zone); St. Antony Higher Secondary School, Velachery (Saidapet zone); Chennai Middle School, Egmore (Thousand Light zone), and Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Chintadripet (Chepauk zone).
