City university’s cultural fest kicks off

Students from across the country will showcase their skills at ‘Milan’, the national-level cultural competition organised by SRM University, over the next few days.

Inaugurated on Wednesday, the festival, which had its first edition in 2008, will be on till February 1. Film choreographer Kala, cinematographer U.K. Senthil and managing director of JV Media Dreams K.G. Jayavel were present at the inaugural function.

Over 50,000 students will participate in the fest that has many events, including debates, music and dance shows, lined up.
