Watch an exhibition of Chamba Rumal embroidered pieces. This traditional art form on a piece of cloth comes with elaborate floral borders, ornamentation, and portrayal of figures and animals. The common themes are the legends of Krishna. There’s also Raas Leela , an exhibition of paintings and sculptures inspired by the Chamba Rumal and its theme. Works of artists Seema Kohli, S. Nandagopal, A.V. Ilango, Biswajit Balasubramanian and K. Muralidharan. The events are organised by Forum Art Gallery, as part of World Crafts Council’s world craft summit Kaivalam .
