Chennai region secures 99.03% passes in class ten CBSE results

Pass percentage of the Chennai region (including Karnataka) has secured the second highest pass percentage.

Students in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class ten in the Chennai region have secured a pass percentage of 99.03 per cent. The pass percentage of the Chennai region (which includes Karnataka), which consists of five States and three Union territories has secured the second highest pass percentage.

The Thiruvanthapuram region pass per cent is 99.77 per cent. The Chennai region has bagged the second spot and is over the national average of 97.32 per cent. Like every year girls (97.82 percent) have fared better than boys (96.98 per cent). 1,40,693 students of the total 1,42,075 students in the Chennai region have cleared the examination.
