Chennai-Bali flight launched

A new airliner ‘Batik Air’ has launched a service linking Chennai with Bali via Kuala Lumpur from Monday. By the end of next month, they will add another flight from Chennai to the capital of North Sumatra, Medan.

This is one of the airlines under Indonesia’s Lion Air Group.

Consul general of Malaysia Ahmad Fajarazam Bin Abdul Jalil said this will not only improve connectivity but also provide passengers more choice with respect to travel. Noor Azman, director of tourism, Malaysia, South India and Sri Lanka and Ramdas Shivram, general manager sales of Batik Air, spoke.
