BSNL launches online booking facility for mobile connections

BSNL Chennai Telephones launched online booking facility for mobile connections in the city on Wednesday.

A. Balasubramanian, BSNL’s chief general manager, inaugurated the facility at a press meet organised to facilitate its oldest customer.

Mr. Balasubramanian said customers could get a mobile connection along with mobile numbers of their choice by logging on to www.cymn.bsnl.co.in.

After filling an application form, the customer can get the coonection activated by visiting the nearest service centre.

On the occasion, Beehive Foundries, a unit of Indian Commerce and Industries Limited, and one of BSNL’s oldest customers, with a service connection since 1915, was felicitated. The BSNL app was also launched as part of customer service.

Customers can use the app for paying bills and top up their balance among other services.
