Now, signage glass panel falls at airport

A signage glass panel fell off at the domestic terminal at Chennai airport on Thursday morning.

Nobody was injured. According to airport sources, the panel near boarding gate number 2, located in the security hold area, fell off around 8 a.m.

At that time, there was no movement of passengers, and nobody was injured.

With this, the number of glass panels falling from the roof at the airport touched 20. A senior Airports Authority of India official said an independent safety assessment needed to be undertaken by an outside agency with expertise in safety audits.
