Yoga centre celebrates eighth anniversary

The Pranayama and Yoga Centre at the Anna Nagar Tower (Visvesvaraya) Park, which is run under the auspices of the Patanjali Yog Samithi, celebrated its 8 anniversary on December 24.

J.B. Shah (Guruji) disciple of Shri Ramdevji Maharaj Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar, and founder of the Centre was honoured on the occasion.

G.V. Ramachandran, the centre-in-charge, and R. Jayaraman, yoga instructor, said “Nearly 100 persons, including students and general public, were benefited and they shared their experiences of yoga and pranayama.”

Every day, the centre conducts pranamyama and yoga classes, for free, between 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. Those interested can contact Jayaraman - 98402 35009.
