Vincent De Paul society extends medical help

At the Lady of Guidance Church, R. A. Puram, a pious association called St. Vincent de Paul Society, is functioning under the guidance of the parish priest Rev. Fr. C. C. Ambrose. St. Vincent de Paul, Our Lady of Guidance conference runs a clinic called Ozanum for the poor at 9, Lazarus Church Road, R. A. Puram.

The clinic operates with four qualified doctors throughout the week (except Sundays) in the evening. Dr. Guru Prasad Rao, cardiologist consults every Tuesday evening between 3 and 5 p.m. consultation charges are very nominal.

On Jan. 18, David Wiles, National sponsorship Education officer International Relation Committee, England, Wales has reviewed the work. He praised the successful work done by the conference.

He also appreciated the medical camps conducted for the poor.

K. Jayaraju Rau, National Aggregation Officer along with the presidents of Madras Central council and Area Council South visited the conference.

The good work done by the conference was appreciated by one and all.
