Seminar held on ethical hacking

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Jerusalem College of Engineering, Pallikaranai, organised a seminar on computer security and ethical hacking. The programme was handled by Ankit Fadia, a certified ethical hacker and an Indian computer security consultant. As many as 550 students and faculty members attended the programme.

Mr. Ankit Fadia explained the risks involved in the use of Internet and the precautionary steps that have to be followed.

He demonstrated a few of the hacking process which are mentioned in the books authored by him.

He briefed about the various certification courses on hacking and the career opportunities involved in computer security. Some of the students enrolled themselves for the certification courses offered by Ankit Fadia.

The college principal, R.M. Suresh, and the department head, C.R. Rene Robin, presided over the programme.
