Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar, organised a State-level exhibition on bioscience “Biovision-Promoting Science for Tomorrow.” In her inaugural address, K.N. Sulochana, Director, Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, explained the fundamentals of biochemistry and other life sciences. At the valediction, C. Rose, Chief Scientist and Head, Department of Biotechnology, CLRI, motivated students to pursue research in life sciences.

College authorities — A.P. Maikandan, chairman; S. Valavan, academic advisor; T.V.S. Padmaja, principal; presided over the programme.
