Inter-school Sudoku contest held

The contest has become an annual event that all sudoko wizards look forward to.

The eighth edition of the inter-school sudoku contest was held at Purasawalkam.

This inter-school sudoku contest has been drawing a great response from the city’s leading schools since the inaugural edition in 2005.

This event, which was open to students from Class IX-XII, saw a large number of schools to crack the 9X9 grid game.

Each school was allowed to be represented by two teams comprising four members each. Participants were expected to solve a combination of four different sudoku puzzles within 60 minutes.

Since 2005, this contest has become an annual event that all the schools and sudoku wizards look forward to participate. The event is promoted by The World of Titan, Purasawalkam .

Father Y.L. Irudayaraj, principal, Don Bosco School, Egmore, distributed the prizes to the top three teams along Sabharathnam, regional sales manager, Titan Industries Limited and C. Sivakumar CEO of World of Titan, Purasawalkam.

The winners are Maharishi Vidya Mandir, P.S. Senior Secondary School, and St. John’s English School, Besant Nagar.
