As many as 50 inmates from five old-age homes visited as part of a one-day heritage tour organised by HelpAge India, a non-governmental organisation working for the cause of disadvantaged senior citizens.

Competitions were conducted for the elderly people.

The tour was flagged off by B. Ramakrishna, Executive Vice-President, Larsen and Toubro Construction, and V. S. Ramana, General Manager and Head, Corporate Communications, Larsen and Toubro Construction on the company premises on Mount Poonamalee Road, Manapakkam.
