Free medical camp by residents'association

On Jan 6. at Rajah Muthiah Hr sec. school, R.A.Puram, more than 500 patients of all ages attended a free medical camp arranged by the West R.A.Puram Residents’ Association.

Around 30 doctors and 20 para-medical workers rendered free service. Investigations like audiogram, x-ray, blood and ECG were done free.

Specialities such as skin, general surgery, cardiology, chest disease, dentistry, diabetology, paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and physiotherapy and dermatology were included in the camp. Medicines and spectacles were distributed free to the needy.

Nutritional experts _ Mangai and Srividya highlighted the importance of hygiene and healthy food.
