Photos can be a potent tool in understanding history. For instance, the image of a bawling, naked little girl running down a road has described the horror of the Vietnam war more eloquently than all the scholarly articles on the subject. During the ongoing Madras Week, we invite our readers to use this tool to create a pictorial record of our city.

The photos that make an eloquent commentary on Chennai will be published in Downtown .
