Mahakavi Bharathiyar’s Vande Mataram, an album marketed by Kosmik Music, was released by lyricist Vairamuthu on December 13.
The music for the album has been scored by S.J. Jananiy and sung by S.P.B, Hariharan, Unnikrishnan and Jananiy. Jananiy, a National Award winner, received the KalaiIlamani award from State government in 2003. The first copy of the album was received by film producer Kalaipuli Thanu, in the presence of TNPSC chairman Mr. R. Nataraj, I.P.S.; Mr. Ila. Ganesan, Head Potramari.
