Three children died in separate accidents in Chennai

In three separate accidents in Chennai, children passed away.

In separate incidents, three children died on Tuesday. In the first case, a 10-year-old boy from Bharathi Nagar, Mandaivelipakkam, choked when he was playing with his mother’s dupatta. According to the police, the boy, Madhavan, had tied the dupatta around his neck and was playing with it and he suddenly started choking. The boy was rushed to Government Royapettah Hospital where he died. In Saligramam, a 10-month-old child fell from crib bed and died. R. Hariharan, had been suffering from a cold and his parents had left him to sleep in his crib.

The boy rolled off and fell on the ground, sustaining injuries on his head. By the time he was taken to Government Women and Children Hospital in Egmore, he had died. The body has been sent to Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem, the police said.

The third victim was a six-month-old boy, Esvin. On Monday night, his mother was feeding him dinner when he choked. He was taken to Kilpauk Medical College where he died on Tuesday.
