Importing talent

Evelyn Sharma, whose ad for a body lotion had everyone talking, has been the talk of the town in Bollywood too. The German-Indian model has signed for small roles in Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala, Manish Tiwari’s Issak and Ayan Mukherji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani. Apparently, her song in buddy film Nautanki Saala, which stars Ayushman Khurana and Kunaal Roy Kapoor, has been choreographed with Madhuri Dixit’s signature moves and is a recreation of her famous ‘Dhak Dhak’ song.

Put on your dancing shoes

The filmmakers behind India’s very first 3D dance film — ABCD Any Body Can Dance are soon to kick off an unusual promotional tour for their film. Director Remo D’Souza, along with the cast (winners of dance reality shows and ace choreographers such as Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya), is preparing a 16-day tour where they will visit many cities and hold day-long workshops. Participants will be taught various styles such as popping and locking, hip-hop and Bollywood, among others.

The silencer

Sonakshi Sinha will reportedly pay tribute to her father by mouthing his famous ‘Khamosh’ in her upcoming film Son Of Sardaar. We hear that in a train sequence where Sonakshi gets into a fight with a co-passenger, the girl loses her cool and says the ‘K’ word. We also hear it has been dubbed by dad Shatrughan Sinha.
