Fusion concert ‘Jwaalaa’ in Krishna Gana Sabha

Classical percussionist Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman will join forces with acclaimed pianist Stephen Devassy and other artists of various genres, to present a concert titled ‘Jwaalaa’ as part of the sabha’s 57th Art & Dance Festival.

Slated for December 23, the concert features an impressive line-up of artistes, including Mattanur Sankaran Kutty on chenda, Attukkal Balasubramaniam on the violin, Bangalore Arjun Kumar with the dholak, for vocals by G. Ravishankar and Aishwarya Kasinathan.

The show promises a blend of Carnatic, Hindustani, folk, Ghazal, Western, Blues and light classical genres.
