The 14th year Sri Vinayagar Chaturthi will be celebrated on 19.9.2012 grandly at the Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam, 1 Kambar St, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Selaiyur, East Tambaram, Chennai -73,

The 14th year of Sri Vinayagar Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 19 at Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam, 1, Kambar Street, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Selaiyur.

A special Ganapathy Homam will be performed at 8.45 a.m. followed by abhishekam to Sri Kamala Siddhi Vinayakar and Sri Panchamukha Hearamba Ganapathy.

Special pujas will be performed at Sri Lakshmi Visa Ganapathy Temple at Brindavan Nagar in Pazhavanthangal. Pujas will be performed for those seeking visas of all categories including study visa, work visa, trade and business visa, temporary, permanent, tourism and medical visa among others. Sri Ramanjaneya Trust, Tambaram Sanatorium, will be celebrating Vinayaka Chaturthi at Sri Vaithianathaswamy Temple from September 15 to 19. Music performances and purappadu will be held during the festival.

Sri Shankara Vinayagar, Sri Sundara Anjaneyar Aalayam, No:3, Gandhi Road, Shankara Nagar, Pammal, will be performing special pujas in view of Vinayagar Chathurthi. On September 19, Vinayagar Veedhi Ula in LIC Colony will be at 7 a.m.; Vinayagar Veedhi Ula in Shankara Nagar will be at 4 p.m.; and at 6.30 p.m. Chand Muralidhas Bhagavathar along with his troupe will present a music programme. Ganapathi Homam and Sudharshana Homam are part of the rituals.

To take part in Laksharchanai and Ganapathi Homam , the fee is Rs.100 and Rs.1,000 respectively.

Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivar Jayanthi will be celebrated on October 29. At 7 a.m., Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivar Homam ; at 9 a.m., Thriumanjanam; and at 10 a.m., Maha Aarati . Homam Sankalpam is Rs. 100.
