Due to line/power block to facilitate engineering work for the construction of a subway at Madurantakam yard in the Chengalpattu–Villupuram section, the following changes will be made in the pattern of train services on Friday: Train no. 66043/66044 Chennai Beach–Melmaruvathur–Chennai Beach will be partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Melmaruvathur.
Train no. 56037/56038 Egmore–Puducherry–Egmore will be partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Puducherry. Train no. 12605 Chennai Egmore–Karaikkudi Pallavan express, scheduled to leave Egmore at 3.45 p.m. will leave late by 30 minutes.
The IRCTC food plaza at Chennai Central railway station will be closed for two months, from Thursday, for renovation work.
