The government should consider changing the emblem of the State to ensure its secular character, said Dravidar Kazhagam president K. Veeramani here on Friday.
In a statement, he said it was “injustice” to have the temple tower as the official emblem and wanted the government to take a bold decision by changing it. He was confident that all secular forces would support the move and urged them to send telegrams and pass resolutions.
