A massive hundiyal symbolically took the centrestage at the ‘Seva Mela’ on Sunday that was organised to usher in Daan Utsav.

The mela saw nearly 75 NGOs showcasing their work, and the public who visited got an opportunity to interact with their representatives and know about various causes they could support. Organised by the Chennai Mission Trust and CIOSA, the mela will also be held on October 2 at the Lady Venkatasubba Rao matriculation school campus.

The hundiyal was installed to encourage the spirit of giving and with the idea that even a child who has a rupee to contribute can help such organisations.
