CBSE pre-exam counselling begins today

CBSE’s pre-examination counselling for students and parents will begin on February 1 and will continue till April 17. The avenues will be open even at the time of the examination.

According to a press release, tele-counselling, apart from online counselling through the CBSE website, will be offered.

Students can dial 1800-11-8004, the release added. While general queries will be answered by operators, students will be connected to principals or counsellors in case of exam-related anxiety or stress. Students and parents can also send a mail to >directoracad.cbse@nic.in or >mcsharma2007@rediffmail.com . CBSE has also organised counselling for special children, the release added.

According to the press release, 59 CBSE principals, trained counsellors and psychologists will be part of the tele-counselling initiative.
