FMCG Major CavinKareorganised ‘The Bazaar at CavinVille’for their employees at its corporate office in Chennai on September 8.
Executive Vice President, Balasubramaniam, inaugurated the bazaar. Chairman and Managing Director, C.K. Ranganathan, visited the stalls and sampled goodies on sale. He congratulated the stall owners on their entrepreneurial spirit and their innovative marketing skills. T.D. Mohan, JMD, distributed prizes to all the winners.
The day-long event brought together CavinKareans and their families for a day of pure fun and enjoyment at the workplace. The venue was filled with the aroma of delicious foods. Stall owners sold trendy clothes, jewellery, paintings, handicrafts, jute bags and cupcakes. The Purchase Team of CavinKare put up an innovative stall where they sold authentically sourced products such as pickles from Andhra Pradesh, saffron from Kashmir, and glass bangles from Hyderabad. Prizes were given for the Best Marketed and Best Decorated stall. Prizes were also handed out to shopaholics who thronged the stalls.
Annual event
The Bazaar at CavinVille is an annual employee entrepreneurial event run by CavinKare. The Bazaar pays tribute to CavinKare’s own entrepreneurial roots by encouraging employees to become business owners for a day. Employees can buy stall space, inclusive of tables and chairs, at a nominal cost.
