Cash and silver gift articles were reported missing from a function at Saidapet on Friday.
According to police sources, Jayakumar (33) of Perumal Koil Street in Urapakkam had organised the ‘upanayanam’ of his son at a marriage hall in Saidapet. He kept gifts, including cash and silver articles, in a bag. Soon after a photo session, Jayakumar realised that the bag was missing.
The Saidapet police are investigating.
