The last date for Multiple System Operators and Local Cable Operators to register online with the Arasu Cable TV Corporation has been extended to August 9, revised from the earlier deadline of August 5.

The deadline has been extended in consideration of requests from these operators, according to a press release. A total of 20,000 LCOs and MSOs have already registered themselves to take signals from the state-run corporation.

Also, 15 consultants have been invited to a walk-in interview to set up and maintain Head Ends on August 8, the release said.
