The British Council invites students, who are going to the UK for further studies this year, to the Education UK Pre-Departure Orientation at the British Council, 737, Anna Salai, at 2.30 p.m on July 27.
According to a press release, the briefing is for all students, who have received an offer of admission from an institution in the UK (also known as the offer letter). The orientation will cover advice on all that one needs to do immediately after they receive the letter of admission from a UK institution and before they leave for the UK, which includes student visa application, travel and accommodation. Students and parents of students are required to pre-register for the event at the British Council office in Chennai. A registration fee of Rs 300 will be charged per person.
