The Aarc, the Mystery of the Unknown Avengers. Author: Venkatesh and Gurukalyan.

‘The Aarc –The Mystey of the Unknown Avengers’ shows how the Christmas vacation of four young boys — Anirudh, Aravind, Ram, and Krishna — in Kashmir turns daring and venturesome. The children and their uncle Ananth, an Army Major, fall into a surreptitious plot laid by gamblers. Their fellow members start disappearing and the situation becomes even more mysterious when their uncle Ananth gets imprisoned. Though the book is written on predictable lines, young children will find it gripping and interesting. The language is simple and straight.

The book is a maiden attempt by the authors — Gurukalyan and Adithya Venkatesh — who are Class VIII students of P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore. The 75-page book, which is priced at Rs. 100, is published by B. Venkatesh, B-3, Annathi Apartments, 4,9 Santhome High Road, Mylapore. For details, contact 044 – 4203 5393 / 4306 9417.
