Chennai Brahmasri T. Balakrishna Sastrigal’s 93 birth anniversary was observed on Sunday with the digitised audio release of some of his most lasting works.

At the Tatvaloka Hall in Teynampet, a DVD of the ‘Sathguru Thiagaraja Keerthanai Vilakkam’, an exposition of saint Thyagaraja’s verses and an MP3 CD of ‘Seetharama Kalyanam’, were unveiled by Upanyasa Chakravarthi Srivatsa S. Jayarama Sharma. Shri Ravi Appaswamy, MD of Appaswamy Group of Companies and Hon. Consulate, Turkmenistan, received the first copy.

The audio was mastered by Swathi Sanskriti Series.
