In yet another shuffle the Election Commission on Sunday posted Additional Director-General of Police Ashutosh Shukla as the new Police Commissioner of Chennai replacing Director-General of Police T.K. Rajendran. ADGP C. Sylendra Babu, who was heading the Coastal Security Group, was posted as the ADGP, Law and Order, in the place of J.K. Tripathy. The outgoing officers were not given a posting. The transfers come a day after >K.P. Maghendran was posted as DGP, Elections.
