Nayaki, a cultural association at Kotturpuram, celebrated its 18th annual musical festival.

The event was inaugurated by R. Krishanamoorthy, president, Narada Gana Sabha.

In his address, he spoke about the contribution made by M.A. Chidambaram and his father Annamalai Chettiar to the field of culture and sports.

This year the Nayaki Award of Excellence was conferred to ‘Kalaimamani Isaiperaringyar’ Nadaswaram artist M.P.N. Ponnusamy. Va. Ve. Su, former Principal, R.K.M Vivekananda College felicitated Mr. Ponnusamy.

S. G. Rajagopalan, the association secretary, coordinated the programme.
