Union Shipping Minister G.K. Vasan will, in Chennai on Friday, conduct a review of the two important road connectivity projects that are facing obstacles due to protests and technical objections.
In addition to the Chennai Port – Maduravoyal elevated link road project, the Ennore Manali Road Improvement Project connecting Ennore and Chennai ports too has run into rough weather with fishermen refusing to move from their catamaran landing centre.
According to sources, he would review the on-going projects in Chennai, Ennore, Tuticorin and Vizag ports. Recently, he reviewed projects along the western coast.
