Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams on Monday conducted a Holy Communion Service at the Church of South India Office. It was attended by Synod Officers, CSI Bishops, Synod Executive Committee Members and Synod Staff.
Recalling his visit to St Thomas Mount and the presence of the portrait of Virgin and the Child, the Archbishop said he was convinced that the portrait was painted by St Luke and brought to India by St Thomas.
“Let us reflect and restore the God's own imaginative vision,” he said.
