Applications invited from institutions

The Chennai Corporation is inviting applications from registered institutions to conduct short-term vocational training courses at its community colleges.

A press release said that the institutions must provide training for courses in security service, pharma retail and computer hardware and networking.

The institutions with 10 years of experience and those who have a record of 95 per cent of job placement for students may apply.

Other qualifications include a curriculum planned to develop life skills of the students, experienced teachers and facilities for practical sessions.

The institutions may apply to the Corporation Commissioner along with their income tax certificate for the past two years before May 21, the release said.
