Mylapore Police on Thursday arrested a history-sheeter who reportedly, along with his accomplices, threatened a person using an air gun at Nochikuppam on Wednesday night.
Vikram Kumar, who was wanted in a murder case in 2015, was reportedly at large.
His accomplices, include Sameem Ansari, 27, of Chepauk, and Satish, 27, of Triplicane. Police seized the air gun and a small knife from them.
During interrogation, Vikram confessed that he was planning to murder someone and hence he bought the air gun for ₹2,000 online and knife as well.
The case is under investigation.
