The two-day Mother Teresa International Film Festival, which concluded here on Sunday, featured 12 international films, portraying the life and message of Mother Teresa.

The festival, conducted at Don Bosco School auditorium, saw participation from many institutions run by the Missionaries of Charity. Inaugurating the festival, its director Fr.Harris said it was an attempt to bring alive the memories of Mother Teresa.

Superior of Missionaries of Charity Beena Paul said Mother Teresa was an embodiment of love and service. She said everyone should strive to emulate her at least one minute every day to make a huge difference in society.

The festival opened with Italian movie ‘Madre Teresa.' The second day saw a string of screenings of clippings of Mother Teresa and feature films on her.

Speaking at the valedictory, actor Khusbhoo said that the festival was an opportunity for the people to reflect on their mission in life.

The festival was jointly organised by the Department of Information, Don Bosco Institute of Communication Arts and SIGNIS Bengal.
