“He travelled to America, Malaysia and Singapore and came back safely. He lost his life sadly when he set out on the Saligrama Yatra,” said Soundaraj Bhattachariyar solemnly before he went to receive the body of his brother L.S. Sudarshan Bhattachariyar, who died in a plane crash in Nepal on Monday morning. Several relatives of Sudarshan came to receive the body of the hereditary archaka of the Sarangapani, Chakkarapani, Ramaswamy temples at Kumbakonam.
