Senior teachers of schools run by the Chennai Corporation recollect a time when schools reported only around 50 per cent pass percentage. The class XII results for 2013 on Thursday with 25 of the 32 schools reporting 80 per cent pass percentage demonstrate an improvement in achievement levels of students.
