A senior citizen died in Royapuram after being attacked by a motorist whom he had admonished for his rash driving.

Subash Chandra Bose (69), a resident of Adam Sahib Street, went to a private bank on M.S. Koil Street on Tuesday. While he was standing near the parking lot, Mohammed Hussein, an electrician who had come there on his motorcycle, knocked Bose down. Bose questioned the act of the motorist who became angry and attacked him. Bose was grievously injured and admitted to the Government Stanley Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. The Royapuram police arrested Hussein.
