30 prisoners clear the exam

Thirty of the 52 inmates lodged in different prisons across the State have cleared the SSLC exam, results of which were announced on Monday. While 9 candidates failed in the examination, the results of 13 others were withheld, said Additional Director General of Police (Prisons) S.K. Dogra.

Devarajan and Saravanan lodged in the Puzhal central prison scored 365 and 362 out of 500 respectively while Chandramohan lodged in the Palayamkottai central prison scored 352 out of 500, Mr. Dogra said.
