24-hour fever helpline

The State government has set up a 24-hour helpline where public can get information on swine flu and other fevers.

The helpline was announced following a meeting chaired by C. Vijayabaskar, Health Minister, on Saturday to review the measures taken to deal with H1N1 in the State, a release said.

All government medical colleges and district hospitals have facilities to treat H1N1. The helpline numbers are 044-2435 0496 and 044-2433 4811.

Information is also available by calling 104, 94443 40496 and 93614 82899.
